How do credits work?
Credits are the currency of Ask Rumi. Each completed reflection costs 1 credit. New users receive 5 credits upon creating an account. You can purchase additional credits at any time through the Seeker Pack ($10 / 50 credits) or Power Pack ($50 / 600 credits).
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Once purchased or earned, they remain in your account indefinitely as long as your account is active.
Is Ask Rumi therapy?
No. Ask Rumi is a digital self-reflection tool, not therapy. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, counselling, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. If you are struggling, please seek qualified professional support.
Can I get a refund?
All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits are digital products delivered instantly. We do not offer refunds, partial refunds, or exchanges. Please review our Refund Policy for full details.
Are my conversations private?
Your conversations are stored securely and associated with your account. We do not share your conversation content with third parties, except as required to provide the service (e.g., processing through OpenAI's API to generate responses). Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do referrals work?
When you refer a friend and they create a new account using your referral link, you receive 5 bonus credits. The new user receives the standard 5 signup credits. Referral credits are awarded once per new account — duplicate referrals are not credited.
How does billing work?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. You are charged once at the time of purchase — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Credits are added to your account immediately after payment.
How do I earn referral credits?
Share your unique referral link with friends. When someone creates a new Ask Rumi account using your link, you automatically receive 5 credits. You can find your referral link in your dashboard. There is no limit to how many people you can refer.
What happens when I run out of credits?
When your credits reach zero, you will not be able to start new reflections until you purchase more. Your existing conversations and history remain accessible. You can purchase credits at any time from the pricing page.
Is my data safe?
We take data security seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices and trusted infrastructure providers. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
