Identity
“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”

“In the garden of your soul, shed the leaves of who you are not, and let the true self bloom eternal.”
You have survived things. Things that were hard, things that were unfair, things that you did not choose and could not control. And you are still here.
This is not a small thing. The self that survived is not the same self that existed before. It has been changed by what it has been through. It carries marks. It has learned things it did not want to learn.
But it is also stronger than it knew it was. More resilient than it believed. More capable of endurance than it would have predicted.
The self that survived is worth knowing. It is worth respecting. It has earned the right to take up space, to have needs, to be treated with care — by others, and by you.
