“The wound is the place where the Light enters you, transforming heartache into the sacred dawn of understanding.”
Every significant heartbreak is also an initiation. Not because the pain is good — it is not. Not because you deserved it — you did not. But because of what it reveals.
Heartbreak strips away the comfortable illusions. The belief that love is safe. The assumption that what you built together was permanent. The idea that you knew who you were in that relationship.
What remains after the stripping is something more real. A self that has been tested. A capacity for feeling that you now know you possess. A knowledge of your own depths that you could not have acquired any other way.
The person who has been broken by love and has survived it is not diminished. They are enlarged. They know something about themselves that the unloved cannot know.
