“I searched for myself and found only God. I searched for God and found only myself.”

“To be seen is to be known, and in the knowing, love blossoms beyond the boundaries of silence.”
One of the deepest human needs is to be witnessed — to have someone see your life and say: I see you. I see what you are carrying. I see what you have survived. I see who you are becoming.
This witnessing is a form of love that does not require words. It is the quality of attention that says: you matter enough to be truly seen.
We hunger for this witnessing. We perform for it, we seek it in strangers, we grieve when it is absent in the people closest to us. The loneliness of not being witnessed is one of the most profound loneliness there is.
To witness someone well is to love them. To be witnessed is to be loved. And the relationship in which two people genuinely see each other is one of the rarest and most precious things in human life.
