Love
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there.”

“In the garden of the heart, let your love blossom without the weight of expectation.”
Most of what we call love is actually a transaction. We give in order to receive. We open in order to be opened to. We stay in order not to be left.
But there is another kind of love — rarer, quieter, more difficult. It is the love that gives without keeping score. That stays without demanding to be stayed for. That sees another person clearly, including their shadows, and chooses them anyway.
This love is not passive. It is not weakness. It requires enormous strength to love without needing the love returned in a specific form.
You may have experienced this love from a parent, a friend, a stranger who helped you without reason. It leaves a mark. It shows you what love can be when it is freed from fear.
