What you seek is seeking you; fear not the empty moments, for they are where true life begins to unfold.

The fear of wasting your life is one of the most common and least discussed fears. It sits beneath the ambition, the restlessness, the constant searching for something more meaningful.

It asks: am I spending my time on the right things? Am I becoming who I was meant to become? Will I look back and see a life well-lived, or a life of missed opportunities and unfulfilled potential?

This fear is not entirely unhelpful. It can motivate genuine reflection. But it can also become a trap — a constant dissatisfaction that prevents you from being present to the life you are actually living.

The life you are living right now is not a rehearsal. It is the thing itself. And the question is not whether it is perfect, but whether you are present to it.
