Purpose
“You were born with wings, why prefer to crawl through life?”

“Let the beauty you seek be the work you do, for it is only through your unique path that the world truly changes.”
There is work in the world that only you can do. Not because you are the most talented or the most qualified, but because of the specific combination of what you have lived, what you have survived, what you love, and what breaks your heart.
No one else has your exact history. No one else sees the world through your exact eyes. No one else carries your particular wound and your particular gift.
This does not mean your work will be recognized. It does not mean it will be easy. But it means that when you do it, something in you will recognize it as yours.
That recognition — that sense of rightness — is the closest thing to purpose most of us will ever find.
