When the soul is called to dance in a new direction, the heart must learn to trust its steps.

We are taught to find our purpose and then pursue it faithfully for the rest of our lives. But purpose is not always a single, fixed thing. It evolves. It deepens. Sometimes it changes entirely.

The person who was called to build a business may later be called to teach. The person who was called to raise children may later be called to create. The person who was called to serve others may later be called to finally serve themselves.

These changes are not failures of commitment. They are signs of growth. A purpose that no longer fits is not a purpose that was wrong — it was right for who you were then. And the new calling is right for who you are now.

You are allowed to outgrow your purpose. You are allowed to find a new one.
